The Christmas tree is at the center of the celebration. Magnificently decorated with Christmas tree decorations, Christmas tree baubles and with many lights, big and small are waiting for the presents. Putting up the Christmas tree is one of the oldest customs and is still celebrated in families. Special tree decorations give the Christmas tree the finishing touch. The tree ornaments from the Hubrig company in Zschorlau in the Ore Mountains are certainly among the most unusual decorative elements.

Nostalgic Christmas tree ornaments

The little squirrel, looks almost fairytale-like and playful as it frolics on a fir branch. With the help of a clip, the little animal sits firmly on its Christmas tree branches. The detailed replica of a squirrel made from the raw material wood is unique to the Hubrig manufactory. The long bushy tail is slightly curved upwards, the two little ears are alertly pointed and the squirrel looks around with an extremely cute face. The Hubrig tree clips fascinate with their elaborate hand-painting using high-quality paints and varnishes. As a funny accessory, the squirrel wears a small bright scarf and a cheeky hat, which makes it look quite cheeky. It holds an oak leaf firmly in its front paws, so that it cannot fall from the tree.
