The lathe is a precise replica of a traditional workshop, equipped with every conceivable detail. From the small wood chips to the carefully crafted tools, each element has been designed with extraordinary attention to detail and authenticity. Gunter Flath has a remarkable ability, to create miniature models, that not only impress visually, but also capture the spirit of the original objects.

Turning mill as a versatile workplace

Working in a turning mill is versatile, but interesting. Three craftsmen show, what they can do - starting from sawing, to turning and turning Erzgebirgischer folk art. The corresponding machines are faithfully represented with power-transmitting ropes, which are driven by a motor. At the saw first the woods are brought into the suitable size. At the lathe an employee shows his ability. Another worker manufactures tire animals, which are turned.
